Global Day of Prayer


There is no doubt that children play a key role in God’s kingdom. Globally God is busy raising up child intercessors who are standing in the gap for the nations. These children are the prophets of our time and we dare not exclude them from this global prayer movement. Therefore, for the first time, we have included a children’s section on the GDOP Info cd. Use the information below to be inspired and to mobilize the children in your community to be an integral part of GDOP 2008.

GDOP The GDOP this year falls on Mother’s Day in some parts of the world. This is an amazing opportunity to involve children and mothers in your event. Of course, this is only one idea. You could also mobilize kids to pray at Significant Places in your community or simply organize a Children’s Prayer Event and focus your prayers on the Worldwide Weekend of Prayer for Children at Risk (www.viva.org).

90 Days With children we still have the opportunity to form and establish a lifestyle. The principles of the L-10-T Lifestyle will encourage children to live a prayer-and-do lifestyle. Let us also not underestimate the significance of children reaching out to the lost and broken in our communities.
