It was exciting to see the progress of the preparation for GDOP. The Korea Church Council endorsed GDOP meeting this year, though they refused to do that 3 years ago. Major praying organizations agreed to participate in the assembled meeting on 11th May.
We had printed 20,000 10 days prayer guide books and already distributed.
The largest Christian newspaper in Korea (Kookmin Ilbo) made a decision to publish prayer content everyday during 10 days.
We had first united GDOP meeting in 2008 at Sungnam that locates 30 minutes south from Seoul. We had about 600 people gathered in a hall. They were not ordinary people. They were very well trained praying army. We spent 3 hours with relay prayer. 6 organizations united together and prepared each portion voluntarily.
There was prayer for the repentance from sins and unity, the advancement of the kingdom of God, the reconciliation between Koreans and foreigners who live in Korea, the healing and the next generation.
But in several places GDOP was taking place also. We had printed over 20,000 constant prayer guide and distributed among churches and individuals. Many churches used it for "Early morning prayer", "Over-night prayer" and "24/7 prayer meeting".
We had offering time during GDOP meeting. We plan to send money for the relief ministry of Myanmar.
All of us were deeply moved with many tears and cry today.
